The Blind Side chapter 4-7

Summary: In chapters four through seven Michael actually starts to play football more and is starting to get recognized by the coaches of the football team that he has a lot of potential because of his height, weight, and muscle mass. Once the football season started and colleges started scouting and noticing Michael play, the colleges were doing anything to convince Michael to choose their college to go to. When Michael realized he could actually go to a college his grades started to become and issue. Leigh Anne Tuohy and Michael were doing anything to get his grades up. He was spending almost all of his free time with a tutor. When Michael chooses what college he wants to go to Leigh Anne Tuohy and Sean Tuohy the people that adopted Michael and who both went to the same college and feel a love for that college let Michael choose whatever school he wants to go to.

Focus: The point of view that the author wrote the book The Blind Side in is third person. The author is not apart of the book or is not a character in the book but narrates the book as an outside observer. 

The Blind Side Chapters 1-4

Summary: In chapters one through four in The Blind side by Michael Lewis it slowly starts to explain about the game of football and how its played and the positions and the importance of each placement in the game. It only starts to talk about the main Character later in the book around chapter 3. So far the book isn't just a story it is also teaching the reader about the actual game of football. When "Big Mike" the main character starts going to school at the christian school full of white rich kids he feels very out of place.

     

Review:So far I think the book is interesting because it doesn't just talk about the story of The Blind Side, but it also talks a lot about the game of football which is a big part of the book.
